The NuPrime Stream-9 is a reference class multi-room streaming station capable of Wi-Fi 24-bit/192kHz and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD streaming. The Stream-9 includes multiple digital outputs for connecting to external DAC. It supports all major online streaming services, Bluetooth 5.0 (aptX HD), network DLNA and AirPlay 2 streaming. A selectable sampling rate converter (SRC) samples the streaming source music to a higher sampling rate (up to PCM 24-bit/768kHz and DSD256) with ultra-low jitter and distortion.
Feature Highlights
- Wi-Fi 24-bit/192kHz and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD streaming. Mobile devices can stream Bluetooth music to Stream-9, but it can not stream to Bluetooth earphones.

Streaming Hi-Res
Qobuz and Tidal
- Use the NuPrime Omnia app to set up your NuPrime device for Wi-Fi connectivity or multi-zone grouping. Once configured, use the MConnect Player app to stream music from Qobuz and TIDAL. Hi-Res audio streaming is supported via the DLNA protocol.
- TIDAL and Spotify Connect is supported.
- Qobuz Connect is not supported.
- Use the NuPrime Omnia app to set up your NuPrime device for Wi-Fi connectivity or multi-zone grouping. Once configured, from Spotify player, stream to NuPrime device through Spotify Connect.

Setting the Remote Control Preset Keys 1 to 9
Setting the Preset Channels
- On the App, select any playlist that you want to set on the Remote Control keys 1 to 9.
- Only the playlist that has a speaker icon on the top right corner can be programmed as a Preset. Select the speaker icon and a Present Content box will pop up.
- Select any of the 1 to 9 and confirm that you want to link this playlist to the corresponding Remote Control Preset Key.

Install NuPrime Omnia Receiver from Google Play Store or Apple Store

NuPrime streaming devices application firmware can be updated over-the-air through the Omnia Receiver App.
Alert!
If you have a new Android phone and unable to install Nuprime Omnia app, switch to the generic 4STREAM app on Google Play store and it will work just like the Nuprime Omnia app to setup Nuprime Omnia devices.
Alternate Apps
You can use the Bubble UPnP app on Android or the MConnect app on iOS to stream to your NuPrime streamer.
Over-The-Air Update
- Go to the setting for your device
- Select the "NEW" firmware and a dialog box will pop up. Select Upgrade.

Manual Update
The following firmwares fix different problems. Unfortunately we are unable to combine the solution.
*** Firmware "4.6.520554" update will fix the following problems but cause the loss of AirPlay capability.
- When streaming Qobuz and switching between sampling rates, a short fraction of the beginning of the first switched track is missing.
- When streaming Qobuz at 192kHz, there are clicks, pops and dropouts.
