Features
- Common-mode active noise cancellation:
A power conditioning technology used in high-end audio systems and precision electronic equipment to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI) present on power lines. Its operating principle is based on inverse signal cancellation. The system continuously detects noise waveforms in the power supply and actively generates a compensation signal with the same amplitude but opposite phase. When the two signals combine, the unwanted noise is reduced through destructive interference. By suppressing common-mode noise, the system creates a cleaner electrical environment and can help provide more stable, lower-noise power to sensitive audio and electronic components. - Multi-stage Power Filtering and Conversion:
Nuprime ultra low noise Power Engine power supply with AC power filter circuit. High isolation common mode choke circuit for AC power input to prevent the noises pollution from AC power sources from other device or power system. - TCXO (Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator) 25 MHz Clock:
Offers greater frequency stability than the standard crystal oscillators used in typical network switches, helping to reduce jitter and maintain consistent timing. By minimizing unwanted frequency variations, it delivers a clean, low phase-noise signal—providing a precise and reliable clock source for the Ethernet switch system. - Eight gold-plated Gigabit Ethernet ports:
Carefully optimized port spacing is engineered to reduce signal interference and maintain clean, stable network performance.
Clock and Power Circuit
SW-9X features three completely independent internal power supply rails: 12V, 3.3V, and 1.1V. Each rail utilizes a high-speed buck converter to provide highly efficient voltage conversion, fast transient response, and exceptionally low output noise.
- TCXO clock (25 MHz): Eliminates extraneous frequencies and generates a pure, precise clock signal. Provides a high-precision, ultra-low-phase-noise output as the clock source for our Ethernet switch system.
- Power supply circuit for the TCXO clock: Utilizes multi-stage power filtering technology to reduce noise across multiple frequency bands, including 10 MHz, 100 MHz, and 1 GHz, delivering purified power to the TCXO module.
- Power supply circuit for the switch system: Features an ultra-low-noise voltage regulator circuit capable of supporting a wide input voltage range.
- AC power filter circuit: A high-isolation common-mode choke circuit on the AC power input prevents electrical noise from AC power sources, such as other network-connected devices or power systems.
- Exclusive, customized Nuprime power module: Wide dynamic range AC to DC power module. Stable, low-ripple noise, secure protection circuit, well-covered by an aluminum heat sink.
- External clock input port (gold-plated, at 25MHz).
- Internal/external clock selector switch.
