The NuPrime Music Server 9A is a high-performance Audirvana server designed to function as a digital transport for high-fidelity audio systems, with support for multiple streaming services. It comes with a perpetual license for Audirvana Origin and a one-year subscription to Audirvana Studio. The platform incorporates Audirvana’s proprietary technologies, including an advanced audio player, comprehensive music library management, and seamless integration with partner HD streaming services, online radio stations, and podcasts. In addition to Wi-Fi streaming up to 24-bit/192 kHz, the Music Server 9A supports Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD.

Remote Control

  1. Power ON/Standby button. To power off Music Server 9A, use the AC switch.

Setting the Preset Channels

  1. On the App, select any playlist that you want to set on the Remote Control keys 1 to 9.
  2. Only the playlist that has a speaker icon on the top right corner can be programmed as a Preset. Select the speaker icon and a Present Content box will pop up.
  3. Select any of the 1 to 9 and confirm that you want to link this playlist to the corresponding Remote Control Preset Key.

Setup Guide

  1. Check that the voltage selector switch is set correctly.
  2. Attach the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas.
  3. Connect the power cable.
  4. Power on the unit.
  5. Download and open the Audirvana Remote app on your smartphone.
  6. Press the red button on the rear panel of the 9A Music Server. A “WiFi Connect” screen will appear on your phone. Select SSID WiFi Command, then enter the username and password of your local Wi-Fi network. After entering the credentials, the WiFi Connect screen will disappear, and both the phone and the 9A Music Server will connect to the Wi-Fi network. You may then choose whether to connect a wired Ethernet cable.
  7. The 9A Music Server output interface is the same as the Stream-9.
  8. In the Audirvana Remote app on your phone, a device named “Alita” will appear. Select Alita, then choose the sample rate (input/output) to complete the connection.
  9. The display currently shows track information and artist information.
  10. Qobuz and TIDAL are both supported.
